La Familia is an university project, done in the class of Nina Röder.
The project focused on a conceptual examination of the term "Family".
My approach was to bring closer the voids and gaps of a fragile construct like a family. It is about all the untold words, about conversation that should have, but never took place. It is about the juxtaposition of visions, ideas and feelings. Part one focuses on my vision of things.
For part two, every member of the household got a disposable camera, and should convey a feeling of mixed visions and feelings.
The books are bound in a japanese binding, leaving free the stitches. This shows the harsh and roughness, compared to the obvious fragile construction.
